Each 90 min session includes 50-60 minutes of movement (weave of somatic movement, yoga, body-mind ballwork focusing on different body parts each week), 15-20 min of theory and time for brief community check in and centering. Bring yoga mat, massage balls if you have them (some props provided). Expect to release a lot of tension, learn the basics of regulating your nervous system in daily life, and breathe easefully. More than a movement class. You'll learn how to down-shift on the fly and mobilize when shutdown. You will also receive simple 'self-awareness' home practices to integrate your sessions into daily life. The weeks build on one another, so full session registrants only please.
