Become more self aware through the lens of your nervous system & explore simple tools to help you find calm. Experience a simple, gentle movement practice and tools that helps you gear down, turn inward and access more presence, suppleness in your body. Expect 30 min of movement, a splash of theory and Joy's favorite tools to find calm. Somatics comes from the word 'Soma' means to perceive the body from within. The movement practice is ideal for those wanting to reduce stiffness, move mindfully calm their nervous systems. Expect a combination of guided and moving from your own felt sense and an opportunity to tune in to your own nervous system. Joy will take a few minutes to share details about her upcoming 4-week summer course 'Resilient' Recording will be provided to registrants who cannot make the live session.
